Are these things morally impossible?

1. Stopping all violent crime (including abortion).
2. Perfectly controlling all of one’s thoughts.
3. Being able to know how to best respond to every contingent event.

I think 3 may be possible but I have my doubts since contingent events are particulars and as such are phenomenological, not noumenal -almost like shadows on a cave wall.

Yet we see that Jesus and Mary could respond best to every contingent event so some confusion ensues.

3. Best is very vague, do keep in mind that Jesus is also divine and Mary had far more grace than we can ever hope to obtain.

It sounds as though you are asking whether it is possible for human beings to be sinless.
Or whether it is possible for human beings to reach moral perfection.

One can’t say it is inherently impossible, because human nature, while fallen, is not totally malevolent.

So the effects of original sin make moral perfection difficult, unlikely, nearly impossible. And yet we must be morally perfect to enter heaven. It must be possible somehow. But it is only possible through the grace of God freely working on human nature. A theologian would call it the process of sanctification.
