Are we justified by grace alone?

The Protestants say that we are justified by faith alone and some Catholics say that we are justified by faith and works.

Can we say that we are justified by grace alone?

Properly understood to mean that we are initially justified by grace and that saving faith and all of our meritorious acts are made possible by grace, yes, a Catholic could say that we are justified and sanctified by grace alone.
