You have totally misunderstood the point of this thread.

That’s why I specifically said, “I was hoping to avoid discussion of anything pre-Vat II, but just discuss the things that seem to be detrimental in our communication with God and the ways that interfere with our worship of Him in our churches and daily life today.”

The problem is, you made this statement in your opening post;

Of course, this was prior to Vat II and Novus Ordo.

This seems to imply that you believe the cause is Vat II and the Novus Ordo.

Also, it comes across like you wanted to take a shot at Vat II and the Novus Ordo, and let it go unchallenged.
