Just curious to see if we have any on these forums. If you are one of these, please post and comment. It would be interesting to know what school you are in and/or what your area of interest is. If you are not then you should not post. Thanks.

Kind of. I’m a law student but I lecture political (modern and ancient) political philosophy courses. I enjoyed political philosophy classes during my undergrad, and I really enjoy getting to lecture. With philosophy the sky is the limit. Getting to hear the students’ thoughts and read their papers expands my own mind.

Double minor in Classics and Philosophy in my undergrad. Not my major, but can at least help keep the thread going-could produce some good discussion. 🙂

What I am trying to do is get a feel for how many real philosophers come to this Forum. Thanks, I have a major myself but have had a life time interest in Thomistic philosophy and read both him and Aristotle in the original works as well. We have had two Professional Philosopher Professors post that I know of. Dr. Bonette is a recent contributor and I don’t recall the name of the other. I am certain there are more who simply have not disclosed themselves. I do wish more professionals would contribute, it would help improve the Forum. After all there shouldn’t be too much difference between discussing things with us than with their own students.

Grad student and professional philosophy hopeful here.
Great, I hope you will take the time to post from time to time. Would you take a look at the thread " Intelligence in God, an appeal to Professional Philosophers, " about half way down the first page of this forum. I am trying to get someone interested Thomas’ argument for the intelligence of God found in SCG, Book !, ch 44,2? None of us can say definitively that we understand it and I thought it would make a great dissertation topic. Or perhaps you know of someone in your circle who might be interested.

Hi, Linus! I’m a philosophy grad student in a secular school in the midwest. I work on Plato, mostly.
