Come to think of it the Mass was in Latin which to many contemporary commentators bored people to tears yet 70% of Catholic were in church every Sunday as opposed to the current 30% or some low number like that.

I have problems with this. I love getting to mass on time but we just moved to a new state and we have been going to church close to where we are buying our new house. The problem is that this is about 45 minutes away so my parents like to go to our house, which is being built, and take pictures then we go to mass. Of course by the time we get there it is a few minutes late and we normally have no place to sit. It frustrates me greatly and I keep telling my parents we should leave earlier so we get to church on time but every Sunday we leave at the same time. It’s so frustrating. Hopefully in the next few weeks I’ll have my own car so I’ll just drive there on my own if my parents are late. Do you guys have any suggestions? Thanks

I don’t know if your parents will listen, but I would tell them that being on time to Mass is important to you, and suggest stopping by the house to take pictures after Mass, instead of before. It’s not as if the house is going anywhere during the hour you’re all at Mass. 😛 Even if that doesn’t work, it sounds like the problem will resolve itself once you get a car.

Hello! Can your parents take pictures of your house at a different time? How about taking the pictures after church? Also, I am curious why they have to take pictures of this house every week?
