Not accurate, not approved by the Church. It looks like some type of New Age interpretation of Christianity.

There are no footnotes or other documentation for the information given about the apostles. This group started around 1908 according to their website. They started publishing their book in English in the 1950’s. The site does not show an affiliation with any religion.

Thanks, it would be nice to know what the apostles thought and did from day to day but I don’t think any diaries, etc. were kept on them.

This Urantia book/group is in conflict with orthodox Christianity. Reject it.

It sounds like a sect. They are promoting their own book (written by?..) not the Bible.

The words of Jesus Christ are taken out of the Bible and put in the words of some "Master’.
Actually it’s funny that they mentioned the Apostles to their agenda because the Apostles themselves told us in the Bible to reject all parallel stories from the gospels as heresies and be wary of such people. They also warned us about false prophets etc. So I would imagine someone interested in creating a cult that would include Christianity to attracts Christians (who would donate to that organization…) would to reinvent the Apostles and their lives and stories too. Because the Apostles as presented in the Bible don’t let us divert too much from what is said in the New Testament and alternative stories.
This Urantia sounds like a sect, interested only in promoting themselves under a vague nice message of “cosmic truth, universe beauty, and divine goodness.” - and here they are quoting their own book. How reliable does this sound? I know, some might say if we use quotes from the Bible it’s the same thing, quoting from ourselves. BUT the Bible has been around 2,000 years +. It has passed the test of time. People used, saw that its words have their power, there is help in it to build lasting civilizations, it’s not just a “trust me, because I know the way out of all world problems” - kind of book.
May God send wisdom to these people of Urantia and others like them.
