There are married Catholic priests in the East and in the West, both Eastern rite Catholic priests and married Anglican ministers who have become Catholic priests by a special dispensation by the Pope. In this article four married priests tell of their challenging situation, involving, for one thing, balancing family and a super busy schedule as a priest. However, several of these priests say that, like most married priests, they also are in favor of clerical celibacy, and that their cases are exceptions.
