Senator Chuck Schumer brazenly threatened two justices by name: “I want to tell you, Gorsuch. I want to tell you, Kavanaugh. You have released the whirlwind, and you will pay the price!”

“You won’t know what hit you if you go forward with these awful decisions.”

Totally out of line. What I don’t understand is why isn’t anyone demanding his resignation? If it were a Republican they would.

(I wonder whether he realizes he paraphrased Hosea 8, in which God is warning what happens when a people violates His laws…?)

The retraction of freedom generally doesn’t go well in this country. Our best example was prohibition and arguably its greatest legacy is organized crime.

Rather than forcing ladies to surrender autonomy over their bodies, perhaps support programs commonly found elsewhere like a year of paid maternity leave and so on?
