As. Catholic, do I have to agree with the USCCB on immigration reform?

Dear Apologist(s),

My priest recently mentioned immigration specifically in his homily, saying that Catholic teaching is a “seamless garment” and includes the Bishops’ call for immigration reform. I don’t believe that a “path to citizenship” reformation of immigration policy is a good idea (though I have absolutely nothing against legal immigration). Does this make me a bad or unfaithful Catholic?*
 
Dear friend,

Such directives are not a matter of dogma. While the bishops’ concerns here are based on Catholic moral principles, Catholics can disagree on their practical applications.
