Hello, everyone. Your friendly neighborhood atheist, here. I was raised Catholic, and was very devout all the way through my early 20s. I actually even strongly considered entering the seminary to become a diocesan priest.

Well, I don’t want to give away my whole life story up front, but needless to say I am now an atheist. I also am very active in both my local and the national atheist communities. I very much enjoy respectful and rational discussion about both religion and atheism, so I’m here to answer any questions you may have. Annnnndddd ……Go!

Hi, here’s a question.

If Science says there must be a control over a process or it tends to chaos, what controlled the shaping of the moon? What controls the numerous processes of asteriods smashing into eachother and forming moons? Shouldn’t there be some sort of control?

In all fairness, I am not an astrophysicist. So I can really only give you my best understanding, as I am by no means an expert. But just so I am clear, when you say “Science says there must be a control over a process or it tends to chaos,” are you referring to the second law of thermodynamics?

I thought you were skilled in astronomy/science, my apologie.

I was referring to Entrope.

I have another question: Know dark matter? Scientists say you can’t feel it, sense it or detect it, or see it. Atheists often argue you can’t see God or sense him ot detect him.

So, isn’t it logical to believe in God is someone believes in Dark matter?
