For my other son Nicholas, asking for prayers to heal his soul, that he search for and finds Jesus, and that he quits alcohol and substance abuse.
Saint Jude and Saint Michael the Archangel please help him.

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession, was left unaided. Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto you, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To you do I come, before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in your mercy, hear and answer me, that Nicholas find our Jesus, and stop substance abuse

Prayer for another Miracle
God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal Nicholas. You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk. You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into Nicholas’ body and give him the strength to fight his addictions. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever.

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Saint Maximilian Maria Kolbe, your life of love and labor for souls was sacrificed amid the horrors of a concentration camp and hastened to its end by an injection of a deadly drug.
Look with compassion upon Nicholas who is now entrapped in addiction to drugs and whom we now recommend to your powerful intercession.

Having offered your own life to preserve that of a family man, we turn to you with trust, confident that you will understand and help.

Obtain for us the grace never to withhold our love and understanding, nor to fail in persevering prayer that the enslaving bonds of addiction may be broken and that full health and freedom may be restored to Nicholas whom we love.

We will never cease to be grateful to God who has helped us and heard your prayer for us.

Dear Lord, please give Nicholas the sheer determination and power to quit his addictions. Please heal him body and soul; in Your infinite mercy bring peace and comfort to him, in Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.

Such a beautiful prayer. Thank you. My own father died at the age of 43 from addiction to alcohol so Nicholas is fighting genetic issues as well. Nicholas is only 35 but if he persists, he will die young like his grandpa. Since Nicholas looks more like my dad than his own father or me, I’m really freaked out
