Now I dont know for sure about this but and maybe an ex occultist could really answer this question as the title says… If there are any ex dabblers on this forums.

I read yes because maybe they want you to think it is and I read no because scientific research is saying no.

Note: I ask this question from a know your enemy point of view.

It’s demonic. Stay faaar away. I wouldn’t even look it up. The occult opens the door to possession. Do not do it! It’s probably a demonic trick anyway.

St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him we humbly pray, and do thou oh prince of the heavenly host, by the power of God, thrust into hell satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen!

Crux Sancti Patris Benedicti; Crux Sancta Sit Mihi Lux; Non Draco Sit Mihi Dux; Vade Retro, Satana! Non Suade Mihi Vana; Sunt mala Quae Libas; Ipse Venena Bibas. Amen!

In the book Hostage to the Devil Fr. Malachi Martin describes the possession and exorcism of a man involved with this sort of activity.
Stay away from this, ouija boards, tarot cards etc.
The Enemy uses this kind of stuff to harm people’s souls

I respect your replies but im not asking how to do it. im asking in a way that will help in the warfare of a personal issue im dealing with myself.

If this is the case, the internet doesn’t seem like a prudent choice of a source to draw conclusions from.

I would advise speaking in detail with a priest.

I have and ive spoken to both protastants and catholic leaders and it was dissapointing to say on both sides in a “ill say a prayer and send you on your way” type of disapointment. I also came to ask here instead of a website that could lead you to more harm.

Our soul is connected with our bodies that makes it just about impossible for them to separate until death.

It may be a real experience, but it would be a false experience, either in the way of it being in your imagination or in being tricked by the devil. most likely.

Astral projection is real, dangerous and demonic. A former New-Ager, now a Christian, wrote a good article on this as a warning:

Not sure, really.

As an inhuman Osprey, I can dematerialize and rematerialize at a maximum of 7 light years away, but that’s my max. and it takes me a day to regenerate after one cycle before I can do it again.

I think it’s pretty cool, though.

I think astral projection is real, but I would not pursue it. It is supernatural. We do not know much about or understand the essence of it. Some of the great Saints have done it, but nowhere do I see it encouraged within the Church. Perhaps it is a spontaneous Holy gift or something not so divine that we would seek it. I personally would stay away from it. Peace

Astral projection is really cool. I do it all the time. People will eventually get that gift through spiritual development. People on here will try to direct you away from it but they are not properly informed in the topic lol.

No saints have done “astral projection.”

The charismatic gift of bilocation is a matter of actual physical presence in two places at once. (Just like it says on the can.)

The gift of teleportation is the gift of instant physical travel from one place to another. Again, the person is really there.

There are also various forms of prophetic vision of faraway places or supernatural states (like Heaven). In these cases, the person does not go anywhere, nor is the person “doing it” himself. It is God doing it, directly providing knowledge through manipulation of the senses or the imaging centers of the brain.

“Astral projection” is usually explained by drug use, suggestion, psychological hallucinations, or manipulation of the mind or senses by demonic powers.

My understanding is that bilocation, visions and teleportation all take place through an astral hole.

That artical has so many holes in it I could grate cheese.

Lucid dreaming is being aware you are dreaming and pushing some control into your dreams.

I have vivid nightmares and frequently use my dream control to either end the threat or wake up. It’s not magic it’s mental discipline.

Back on topic to astral projection all I’ll say is thus:

“To some the spirit grats the gift of prophecy”. If you are a seer use it for good. I can’t know what you have been given or granted but don’t waste it and stay mindful of your morality. Ground yourself often and walk with God.

I’d recommend this book. It’s not fully about astral projection, but the New Age in general. It’s from the author’s personal experience of deep involvement in the New Age and he relates his own experiences with astral projection and his realization that demons were encouraging him in this practice. The author, now deceased, and under suspicious circumstances, became a Christian and a powerful speaker and advocate against the New Age movement. You asked for a ‘Know your enemy tool’ and this is pretty good.

Thank you for that info on the book, I will have to check it out.
@Theoldcolonel… My maliase is my maliase to work out, but I thought about those holes you were talking about, sounds like the movie jumper where people can go anywhere in the world, makes more sence.

Astral projection is not real. There are a number of other things that may simulate what it is claimed to be. I will not provide more information to keep the curious away.

I, for one, feel like there are way too many astral holes in the would. 😎
