My mom is 88 and not able to get around easily…uses a cane. She feels guilty that she can not easily attend Mass. She does watch it on TV. Can I give her info that helps her not feel guilty?
It’s not so much a matter of age alone. My mother is 96 and goes most Sundays. But sometimes her health doesn’t permit it. Age-related health issues is the major factor–also the availability of transportation. Your mother need not feel guilty for missing Mass because of not feeling up to it.
