What exactly is it? From arguments I’ve seen advanced it seems to be something decided by the laws of the State, I guess killing your next door neighbor because he’s gay isn’t “murder” if you live in a country run by thugs like in Iran. Or if you speak out opposing the repressive government in a communist dictatorship and they arrest you and summarily execute you that isn’t “murder” because it’s not a breach of the laws of that dictatorship. Am I missing something here?
