I’ve decided Sunday Mass is just not enough. I love attending Mass on Sunday but I woke up this morning and told my self that ‘I’m going to daily Mass tomorrow.’ Are there any differences between the two?

I usually go to sunday Mass with a Catholic friend on mine, but he wont be going this time so I have to figure out the kneeling/standing thing on my own. XD

Welcome Lizds!!! :extrahappy:

Before I converted, I attended daily Mass when I could. It is shorter (generally about half-an-hour), but I love daily Mass (as well as Sunday Mass) as it truly is the "faithful’ that gather. I attend daily Mass at 7:30 in my parish and start my day off with God!!!

Our parish does not sing at daily Mass, but some parishes do; just watch others for the kneeling / standing - and you’ll catch on!!!

:signofcross: May God lead, bless and protect you; reveal himself to you and give you his love, joy and peace!!! ;amen:

Welcome! I love daily Mass, it tends to be a smaller and more peaceful since there are less people.

As for the differences, they aren’t huge, mostly you will just notice it is “missing” a number of things. There are only two readings and the Psalm instead of the three on Sundays. There is no Gloria or Creed recited. And the homily can be omitted, but is usually just much shorter. Everything else is more or less the same. Don’t worry, just follow along with everyone else and you will be good to go. 😃

You are so right, Sunday is not enough! I try to go to daily Mass when I can and miss it so much if work interferes, as it has lately. :compcoff:

I highly recommend it. And if you can volunteer to help the celebrant with readings or singing, I bet you will derive even more value from it. God bless!
