Attention everyone…

The following is a little long but I believe it is what God wants in all our lives.

If you are like me, as individuals, most of the time we do not have the answers for people to all the hurt in the world.

But we all can direct them to the One with all the answers … Our Lord Jesus Christ.

Problem is, there is a challenge when sharing the truth with the unbelieving people of the world, how can they trust in someone they can not see?

Through prayer and meditation, and a little research, I summed up a solution.

I am sure you will find something that will inspire and/or encourage you on your Christian journey

God Bless

According to the Barna Research Group, only 55 percent of Christians believe it is their responsibility to even share their faith at all!
According to Dr. Bill Bright of Campus Crusade for Christ, only 2 percent of … (those 55%) …
Christians share their faith on a regular basis.

If this is true,
it means that 98 percent of the professing Body of Christ do not sense the need to tell anyone about the salvation they received even when they know others need to receive it as well.

From talking to people and a little research, I believe that many Christians prefer to “share their faith” by acting the part vs being active in actually speaking their faith.

Here is an example of a poster online…
Just because a person doesn’t run around ‘Bible thumping’, or walking up to someone asking if they are saved,
or saying amen to everything doesn’t mean they aren’t sharing their faith.
I prefer it when a person just lives by their beliefs, sometimes just being quiet and respectful
of another persons beliefs says more than ‘sharing’.

Sometimes?? I believe “being quiet and respectful”,
is the preferred method most of the time and to share our faith
in the spirit of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness,
and self-control (Gal 5:22,23)

Problem is someone not of the faith can act the same way, can’t they?

So to a non-believer the difference is, they do not always see the difference in us.
We are just another kind, polite person they encountered.
That is why we need to be more active in speaking our faith, develop relationships,
talking about church, sharing the gospel or even extending a simple invitation

Would you believe one of the 12 reasons people do not go to church is because …

No Invitation - people claim that they have not received any invitation to attend Church services.
Some of these people accuse the Christians of being selective in giving invitation to people.

The statistics are alarming
I know I am not alone with the challenges facing us

The question is,
Is there anything we can do to change things?
I know I can. How about you?

In order to resolve this problem,
We need to be reminded of where we came from, where we are now,
and especially what is our purpose as we continue on our spiritual journey in Jesus’ name.

Our purpose …
From the movie Couragious, there are 2 pledges of the “Resolution” which I challenge all to make.

I WILL seek to honor God, be faithful to His church, obey His Word, and do His will.
I WILL courageously work with the strength God provides to fulfill this resolution for the rest of my life and for His glory.

As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. (Joshua 24:15)
AMEN

where we came from, where we are now …
this video sums it up …

To continue where the video left off, I believe the time is Now for Christians to suit up in the armor of God (Eph 6:10-18)
and fight the good fight for Jesus like we never have before.

From 2Tim 2 …
Paul gives some guidelines for us to meet God’s approval…

15 Be a good worker, one who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly explains the word of truth.
16 Avoid worthless, foolish talk that only leads to more godless behavior.
19 But God’s truth stands firm like a foundation stone
22 pursue righteous living, faithfulness, love, and peace.
24 A servant of the Lord must … be kind to everyone, be able to teach, and be patient with difficult people.
25 Gently instruct those who oppose the truth. Perhaps God will change those people’s hearts, and they will learn the truth.
26 Then they will come to their senses and escape from the devil’s trap.

and from verse 21,
If you keep yourself pure …(prayer, repentance, forgiveness), … you will be a special utensil for honorable use.
Your life will be clean, and you will be ready for the Master to use you for every good work.

Brothers and sisters in Christ, every good work means every good work and we are falling way too short at sharing our faith …as I illustrated above

The unfaithful people of the world needs faithful Godly people like you and I 👍

If needed, here is a link to a free online manual which is designed to better equip us to share the gospel with family, friends, and strangers.

Great research. Thank you for sharing and putting the time to make this! 😃
To be honest, I don’t feel like a Christian until I go out and help people- volunteer and a soup kitchen etc. That’s why I don’t feel I can share my faith because then I would be a hypocrite!
In order for me to be a Catholic, I must act like a Catholic- in my deeds (prayers, volunteering, etc). 🙂

Yeah…well, I’m one of the 2% but probably not one that Bill Bright would count because most of his adherents do not consider us Catholics to be Christians to begin with. 🤷

Moreover, his numbers are going to be off so far as Catholics are concerned anyway, because we have more charitable outreach going on than anyone else around, which is a very tangible way to convey the Gospel. All that we do, we do because we are followers of Our Blessed Lord Jesus Christ.

That said, we always pray the Lord of the harvest that He send more workers into His vineyards.

If you are like me, as individuals, most of the time we do not have the answers for people to all the hurt in the world.
Sure we do. It’s called sin. Sin is the reason for all the hurt in the world, whether directly or indirectly.

Also, Christ is more than the one with the answers, He’s the solution to the problem!

of course sin is the why there is a problem…what I meant is we do not have the answer to solve the problem, we only can direct them to the one who has the answer
as you said what I said
Also, Christ is more than the one with the answers, He’s the solution to the problem!
Also???
bz, Did you even read anything below the statement you quoted me?

I did read that. I said he’s more than the one with the answers, meaning he is the one with the answers, but moreso, he is the solution to the whole problem. Having the answers to WHY there are problems in the world is one thing, but having the solution to the problem is another. Maybe this is what you meant, but it wasn’t clear from the wording you used. So, I apologize if I misunderstood.

Christ is the answer for sure, the only answer 👍 🙂
well at least 2 are in agreement, any others?
