If you’re in the D.C. area, and you aspire to be a screenwriter of faith (rather than a “Christian screenwriter,” which implies things that’ll guarantee your stuff will never see the light of day), or you are any other kind of writer who deals with faith topics, you should come to McLean Bible Church tonight at 7:30. Barbara Nicolosi of Act I in Los Angeles will be giving a talk entitled “Greetings from the Church in Hollywood! Where are we now, and where do we go from here?”
MBC is one of those big megachurches with 10 huge flat screen displays, state-of-the-art audio-visual equipment, a bandstand where the altar should go… So, if nothing else you should come to see it for yourself. (I sometimes go for the music when a buddy talks me into it).
