I looked it up and belligerent means hostile or aggressive. I think it comes from the Latin word Bella which means war.

Sadly, I think that her beautiful blonde hair and fair skin prejudiced the audience against her. Someone with “white privilege” has no right to offer an opinion about anything “African American” these days.

Yes, we’ve sure come a long way on race relations, haven’t we? (dripping with sarcasm).

It would be wonderful if a young African American girl made the same speech. Anyone willing to give it a try?
