Dear Brothers and Sisters,

How providential that in the middle of our Week 1 - “seeking true self-knowledge” God presents this special Memorial of Mary’s Queenship of Heaven and Earth! In preparing to Consecrate ourselves totally to Jesus, through Mary, He reminds us of His Gift of Mary to us on Calvary, when from His Cross Jesus said:
Behold your Mother
St. Louis de Montfort was given great grace in writing his treatise on True Devotion, as well as in writing his prayer of Total Consecration in which we address, “Eternal and incarnate Wisdom, most lovable and adorable Jesus” and pray these words:
…I have not fulfilled my obligations, and I do not deserve to be called Your child or even Your loving slave. Since I cannot lay claim to anything except what merits Your rejection and displeasure, I dare no longer approach the holiness of Your majesty on my own. That is why I turn to the intercession and the mercy of Your Holy Mother, whom You Yourself have given me to mediate with You. Through her I hope to obtain from You contrition and pardon for my sins, and that Wisdom whom I desire to dwell in me always.

I turn to you, then, Mary Immaculate, living tabernacle of God, in whom Eternal Wisdom willed to receive the adoration of both men and angels. I greet you as Queen of heaven and earth, for all that is under God has been made subject to your sovereignty. I call upon you, the unfailing refuge of sinners, confident in your mercy that has never forsaken anyone. Grant my desire for divine Wisdom and, in support of my petition, accept the promises and the offering of myself which I now make, conscious of my unworthiness…
Let us ask the Holy Spirit, to enlighten us saying, “Lord, that I may see,” or “Lord, let me know myself” Let us turn to our Blessed Lady and beg her to obtain for us that great grace which is the foundation of all others, the grace of self-knowledge. For this intention they will say each day the Ave Maris Stella and the Litany of the Blessed Virgin.

Prayers - daily for Wk 1:
Litany of the Holy Spirit -Litany of the Holy Ghost | EWTN

Ave Maris Stella -The Prayer, Ave Maris Stella

Litany of the Blessed Virgin - Litany of the Blessed Virgin Mary - Litany of Loreto | EWTN

Thanks GioG12 and Greenfields for your hearts! How Our Lady must love those who are her devoted children, because she know by honoring her in any way, they delight the Trinity Who created her and filled her full of Grace!

May we always seek to love her more and know the more we love the more we become like Mary who is the human person most like her Son. Their union is unique and He has crowned her Queen of Heaven adnd earth that we might grow closer to Him through Mary.

Let us Thank Him, now and always for such a priceless gift as Mary is to all God’s children.
