I’m planning to read Confessions during Lent. My Priest recommended getting an annotated version - he used to have a good one but can’t remember who published it…
Our Catholic book store just had a standard version… I saw a nice annotated one at the Christian book store, but alas, it was gone when I went back to buy it… They had another edition (from a Protestant publisher - scripture references NKJV & NIV )… It was an updated version of Oulter’s translation… I picked it up so I can at least get started but I have to believe there’s something better out there…
Any recommendations???
