Maybe this isn’t the right place to put this, but I’m having trouble finding the right forum.
I’m recently aware of strongly-organized right and left within the Church, including a tiff recently between the Lepanto Institute and the Association of U.S. Catholic Priests in which the former is asking the St. Louis Archbishop not to celebrate Mass with the latter while the AUSCP holds its assembly in St. Louis.

This is strange to me and I wonder why we are behaving in such a divided fashion. I see an echo of this locally at several parishes over issues as diverse as fundraising, scouting and volunteering. I’ve also long considered Archbishop Carlson to adhere to an orthodox understanding of our Faith, not necessarily a Traditionalist one.
