Further proof of how dangerous is in-utero life today. If children are already aborted for cleft palates, Down’s syndrome, wrong sex it is no surprise short people have been included on the termination list too.
The Australia Medical Practitioners Board announced today that it will not subject five doctors to formal disciplinary hearings in a case in which they did an abortion on an unborn baby diagnosed with dwarfism. The board looking into the matter on the request of a member of parliament but won’t take further action.
The investigation ensued after Liberal senator Julian McGauran, who is pro-life, complained that the condition was no reason to allow a woman to have an abortion 32 weeks into the pregnancy.

:crying: :crying: :crying:

My son was BORN at 31 weeks.

How could they do that?

:banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

I read an article at Life Issues which described a couple who were being interviewed by a genetic counsellor. As the parents were both dwarfs they made their wishes known that should the baby they were already expecting be “normal” they would want to have it aborted because they preferred a child more like them.

Maybe now the aforementionned list of persons undeserving of life should be expanded to “too tall” as well as “too short”? :hmmm:

I wonder if Peter Singer, so-called ethicist and philosopher, would respect the parents “absolute authority” to terminate the lives of newborn, healthy offspring because they are just “too perfect” to live with?
