Wow. I have never heard of the Order before now. Thanks for posting that information. My cousin is a Priest in the Redemptoris Mater Order in Sydney. I don’t know if the charisms are connected in any way. I will say a prayer for the Order though.

Does his order have a website?

Bolwarra is one monastery of several worldwide. They’re the only one which has kept the “Bon Jesu” scapular with the Most Holy Redeemer pictured. The monastery in Ireland has kept the light blue cappa. All the others have modernized their garb.

There’s a community in Brazil that has kept the original habit. Ive not heard any updates about them in many years.

Redemptoris Mater is the local Seminary down there. Its not an order.

The Redemptoris Mater I’m speaking of are an order initiated by Pope St JPII back in 1987 as a missionary order of Priest in the New Evangelisation. The neocatechumenal Way. I notice that the Redemptoristines were founded in the 18th century so no connection.
