My twins and 9 yr old will start their vacation bible school tomorrow. This year it is called Avalanche Ranch.

found a great Catholic VBS on catchat.cc, Cool Kingdom Party-Mary leads me closer to Jesus. great resources for the money, everything can be downloaded of CD and reproduced, nothing to buy except the music CD. We can make only as many copies as we need for the kids who show up, no buying extra books that don’t get used. It is great, everything is there, plan for each day, craft directions, songs, skits, games etc. We have all craft supplies on hand. We may not even lose money this year.

Tried canned programs 2 yrs in a row, they say “Catholic Version” but all that means is the Our Father does not have the doxology and the commandment are in the traditional order. One year, they kept sending the “non-Catholic” posters so we had to make our own. Too expensive for us because everything has to be purchased.

We did our own programs the first year and did okay, but it was a lot of work to put together.
