With most of the Catholic radio talk, on this forum, about Relevant Radio, let’s not forget about Ave Maria Radio:
avemariaradio.net/.
Al Kresta can be heard live over the internet(4-6pm eastern) and his new hour long program “Kresta at Large” can be heard there and on EWTN’s network of stations, Saturdays.
I enjoy both networks, listening over the internet. This last week I caught Morning Air’s guest host Lino and found him funny and imformative. A great morning show, that could compete with secular conter-parts on the dial.
I enjoy Drew Mariani also and was happy that I was, once again, able to hear him and his program. I was a bit upset that he was on the air at the same time two other Catholic programs are live.
Soon enough I pray we will have room for many different types of Catholic networks just as there are four Protestant radio stations NYC alone, with Salem owning two of the four. Catholic radio is not there yet and we need to work better together getting Catholic radio everywhere before we start competing.
