OK, so for the past few weeks, I’ve been playing around with my new music production software and decided to do a quick recording of Ave Maria while testing the acoustics of my room.

With Christmas coming up, I thought I might as well post it here for your listening pleasure :D.

The Ave Maria by Hanz Biebl was my favorite piece. Still is actually. It was made famous by the group Chanticleer. No link, but it is beautiful.

I fell in love with this song before I was Catholic and understood the true beauty of the words.
 
Just heard it on YouTube. It sounds great; I’ve never heard of it before. It’s a fairly recent piece, I believe. My personal favorite is the Gounod/Bach version.
 
The Beibl was an All-State selection my junior year of high school. Only pieces I’ve ever cried while singing. Beautiful.
