Hi,

I recently came across this authors work. It seems that he is quite popular with anti-Catholics.

Is anyone familiar with any refutation sites that debunk his claims?

As near as I can tell, he is just a run of the mill anti-Catholic. Any Catholic site can refute many of the claims, and some can be refuted buy secualr history sites. Nothing new or spectacular in his writing. Do you have a specific point that you want to refute?
 
No specific points, but thanks for asking. When I run into someone like him that I’m not already familiar with I try to find reasoned response material and save it as a reference. So, I have a small file on Hislops errors and so on.

It helps when running into Chickian bigotry.

One of his books is printed by Chick. He was reported to be one of the “world’s leading expert on Roman Catholicism,” but the things that he wrote would be laughed out of any academic institution. One way to refute what he wrote, and to build a file, would be to google him. Some of his books are printed line by line on line, and then you can pick a topic or two from each and refute them
