What are the differences between these two degrees? Also, what kind of job will you get after graduation from each degree?

I don’t think you’ll be making much money with either… But I’m sure somebody knows more

If you’re in the United States, most of the time you’d be earning a Bachelor of Arts with a concentration in Theology. That’s what I did undergrad. You don’t start getting into degrees that are specifically in Divinity or Theology until the Master’s level and above, as with the M.Div degree, which is the standard ministerial credential offered by seminaries across most denominations. Even a terminal degree in theology is likely to be a PhD, unless you go on for a degree from a pontifical faculty that grants the Bachelor, Licentiate, and Doctor of Sacred Theology.

What is it that you want to prepare for? That will make a difference in what degree you pursue.

Where are you looking, and what specialisation streams are offered at post grad level?

What country are you in? As Fr. Edward said, in the US you would probably be looking at an undergraduate degree in theology. What is it you want to do with the degree? Teach? At what level? Do you plan to get a graduate degree? In what field? You would want to make sure that you have whatever preparation is needed for grad school. If you’re planning graduate work in theology maybe what you want is an undergrad degree in philosophy. Or is theology just something that interests you and you’re not really concerned about a job in the field. (Believe me, I understand that idea. I have a graduate degree in one field and work in that field, then got a master’s in theology because it was an area of interest. It prepared me to be a well educated volunteer in my parish because frankly, church jobs don’t pay enough.)
