My friend went to her friend’s bachelorette party the other day, and interested to know what they did, I asked about it. She said the usual-they drank a little and had a good time, but then said some things that I was questionable about. They all baked “penis cookies”, and had many pictures and things related to that subject (nothing too bad though, like no strippers). Being a Catholic, a little red light went off in my head when I heard this. Should this be proper for a bachelorette party the night before going into holy matrimony? However, my friend countered that it wasn’t sexual, but funny.
If it was all in jest, and not in a sexual manner, what am I to think of it? To my, the situation smells fishy, and not what a Catholic should do the day before her wedding.
What do you all think?
