I am somewhat surprised how very sensitive things are on this forum, however I want to use this forum and I have to abide by the rules.
I mentioned the last time I posted that I’m more than just a little irritated and fed up with all the backward thinking, alternative and freak lifestyles, castration of masculinity, freeloaders living off of society etc etc.
I shouldn’t have said what I did but I did mean what I said.
I find society and even Catholicism today more than a little “soft”.
I often wonder if things toughened up the way they use to be a number years ago, we wouldn’t have the problems we do today.
I hope that my avatar is not considered “offensive” as this character probably was one of the last men who actually is one and never apologized to anybody for it.

Matthew 26
51And behold one of them that were with Jesus, stretching forth his hand, drew out his sword: and striking the servant of the high priest, cut off his ear. 52 Then Jesus saith to him: Put up again thy sword into its place: for all that take the sword shall perish with the sword.

Greenfield,

You know the effeminate type, opposite of the old “choke chain” mentality that would get results.

Vico,
As opposed to defending oneself and fighting to live?

Well, not a condemnation of the use of the sword for a just cause, or by lawful authority, but rather without forethought. (So it remains sheathed.)

That’s quite a description - how do you connect these to those on the forum?

I’m not really sure what you mean, can you explain
the choker chain thing ? I have a great priest I go to mass to ,he’s very direct in the teachings ,in his homilies but he imparts it with an affirming love of his congregation and God.
I don’t recognise the chap as your user avatar sorry (who is it ?🤔) :australia:

You made me click on your avatar and I was wondering if that is Clint Eastwood and I was about to ask you but Tis_Bearself clarified for me so now I have to answer your post.
Men have nothing else to do but to step up and un-effeminate what actually is androgynized in our society. I don’t think the problem is beibg feminine because a large part of feminists hate feminine too. The problem is that today’s model is androgyne, belongs to no gender apparently, and by some standards it is evolved just because it is different and more evolved because it looks different. This is a propaganda that makes women think it is about their problems, gays that it is theirs, poor people that it is theirs, but it is not. It is sheer manipulation and it works because people love a good lie. I think it is a bad lie and it is nothing new, the androgyn existed as a model in antiquity as well, then in Reinassance etc. It did not last as a role model because of it being unable to produce and reproduce itself. I see it as a repeating pattern indicating society has reached a baroque, an abundance that creates no order but instead keeps on flourishing until flowers are no longer a beuatiful decoration but a nausious visual cancer.
Something is bound to break because we simply cannot survive not even on paper with the amount of hedonistic ideas today being called “love” that seem to govern and convince the human species. But like I was saying before it is nothing new under the sun. And people did wake up from the pinkish dream. Or God woke them (auch!).

The chokechain ideology comes from swift and affermative action vs passive verbal diarreah which gets no results at all.
