Bad Religion the new book by the NY Times writer
Has anyone read it
 
Almost done with it. So far very impressed.

One minor quibble is that in the second half, Douthat’s formula is to describe a modern type of “bad religion”, then explain how it is heretical. During the first, description phase, he sometimes editorializes his disapproval.

Otherwise, very impressive.
