Hi! *I’m a parent and I find the job very stressful. *However, when the kids are gone for a while and I am free to relax at home, I find that a little Latin Jazz hits the spot. *I used to listen to Getz/Gilberto mostly, but recently my friend gave me her copy of a new CD by Badi Assad called “Verde” – and this album hits the spot just right! *I’d like to know if anyone else has heard of her. *If you’re curious and so inclined, you can listen to a couple song samples by going to badiassad.com and clicking on “new”. *What do you think?
 
I believe that she’s coming through town on tour soon. I’ll have to check her out. Is she related to the well known Assad brothers?
