Today was Baptism of Jesus Day at Mass. The Priest sang a lot of the Mass, as did we. Great Homily today. What is the difference, if any, between sung or spoken. This Priest has a great voice and can sing.
It’s really the prerogative of the priest and his comfort with singing. Nothing within the Mass is changed. Of course, there’s the whole “he who sings prays twice” notion.
