What are the rules for baptizing babies, children? What are the rules for the parents doing the baptizing? What are the rules for the godparents chosen. Is it possible to do the preparation in one town of same state, and have the sacrament/ritual performed in another catholic church in another town. (due to elderly grandparents unable to travel…)

Please include rules related to age, what kind of proof does one need to show the church where baptismal occuring that godparents are catholic, and that the parents are catholic? What kind of classes, and number of classes need to be attended on part of godparents, parents and child? Thanks.
