Lord, the day I have awaited for so long is finally approaching - the day I am received into Christ’s family. I can hardly believe it’s really happening and I thank you with all my heart.

If I may be so bold as to ask that everything go smoothly, and that I may stave off this bug that’s going around, at least until friday night.

I’ll be calling upon Sts Padre Pio and Maria Goretti that I may be strong in my resolution to keep my fast before-hand.

Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless and the treasury of compassion inexhaustible, look kindly upon us and increase Your mercy in us, that in difficult moments we might not despair nor become despondent, but with great confidence submit ourselves to Your holy will, which is Love and Mercy itself.
