What im saying is i am so looking foward to the return of my savior. I go through days sometimes saying lord can you come now because all this worldly stuff sux. I love my home and family but I love my much larger and huge family in heaven more. Give me your thoughts or praises

Hey, here is a Catholic that shares your enthusiasm.I can’t wait until evil is over and heaven begins:thumbsup:

I am not really interested in expecting the end of the world and am more concerned with how can I follow Jesus more in my daily life. I know things can get you down, but we are so blessed with many things in this life.

I thank God for the air I have to breathe
My delicious breakfast this morning.
The beautiful day we have today.
The ability to write stuff to you guys on the internet, isn’t this nice?
The chance to go to Mass tomorrow morning to worship Him.

So many things we have, so much beauty in the world and so little time to spread the good news of salvation. We should be worried about how we could do God’s work here on earth and if He decides to come while we are doing it, I welcome it.
Before you know it, you will be in heaven, but time goes by quickly and we should be concerned about living this gift of life as much as possible, to glorify God.

i’m definitly not looking forward to the end of the world…i like living:) but when it comes, it comes. i’ll tell you one thing, though. i’m going to be right at Michael’s side in that final battle against hell!

I know you are looking forward to the end of times, but please remember it will not be all candycanes and butterflies. There are those who are unsaved, don’t rush this in, be patient and wait and give everyone their chance to learn the true faith.

I have to confess I’m torn on this. Yes, I am very much homesick for Christ and for Heaven, and also for many saints in particular … but I sure would hate for Him to come and find my work undone or me unprepared. And since I don’t believe in a pre-tribulation rapture, I’m not exactly looking forward to the “end of days.”

Interesting you should ask. I have a very vivid memory of this same topic.

While still in the Protestant arena (Assembly of God), I attended a Bible study on the end times. Person after person started saying how much they were looking forward to it, people even started saying they were praying for Christ’s return to happen.

As I sat there, I started to get more and more angry and more and more hurt. Tears started rolling down my face, I quietly wiped them away, again and again.

Finally, I rose and spoke. I was shaking with anger and tears were coming in droves. I said "If you truly believe these things are going to happen (end times) you need to stop praying for His swift return and start praying for your mother, brother, children and neighbor. "

The pastor pointed at me and said, this is a work of the Holy Spirit. Let’s all pray right now.

I say, Pray for those here on earth.

God Bless,
Maria
