Good posts and as for me, I won’t go there to the BB…
I’ve never been there - from what I’m reading here I don’t think my blood pressure could take it. I was involved with another primarily Baptist forum of much the same mind-set a couple of years ago and after they questioned my salvation and continued to twist and misinterpret my posts I decided to shake the dust off my proverbial sandals and move on. I didn’t say I was Catholic but I also never denied it - I even shared my testimony at one point, but since I happened to take the Bible literally when Jesus says “This is my body/blood” and “baptism…now saves you…” I was clearly not truly saved.Good posts and as for me, I won’t go there to the BB…
I just don’t understand why people do that, though. It makes sense to have a board for people to discuss their own religion without having to stop to explain things to people of another religion. But if you’re going to discuss another religion, doesn’t it make sense to discuss it with someone who is that religion?I’ve never been there - from what I’m reading here I don’t think my blood pressure could take it. You are correct in your statement but in discussing another religion or “denomination” why bother to invite them or open the doors then one would have to defend them self.I just don’t understand why people do that, though. I guess they’ve decided that know what Catholicism is and that they can’t have that view clouded with the truth.

It’s a shame that any moderator of any board would make comments like this in an open forum about a poster. And you are right about that BB forum, considering that a moderator had this to say about a BB member that converted from Baptist to Catholic:
