I just got the new (larger) 1962 Missal from Baronius Press. The pages are Bible paper (thin), so I am needing a cover - preferably with a zipper, and preferably leather.

What have you guys tried and liked out there?

(bump)

No takers? I guess I’m the only one that is concerned about bending up the pages? 😃

I have the Baronius Missal and I would also like to purchase or make a cover. As you said, the pages are very thin and my Missal already looks aged, despite the fact that it is relatively new. I am considering making a cloth cover out of aida fabric. However, I would prefer to purchase a cover with zips as you suggested. Anybody have any ideas?

I got my fabric covers on ebay. Unfortunately they were only 1 of a kind and I have not see them again. Got 3 covers all different sizes. 1 fits a Baronius 2004 Missal, another the Angelus Missal and another the Pocket Baronius Douay Rheims.

The label on the covers is “Book Gears USA”. (C) 2000 Gregg Mfg. Irvine CA.

I found a nice leather Bible cover with a zipper at our local Catholic shop which fits my Baronius Missal perfectly. It is identical to one that I bought a while ago to fit my British LOH book. Have you tried your local Catholic shop?

Look for zippered Bible covers - just do a Google search for them, then look for one that is the right dimension for your Missal.

easypeasy! 👍
