BBQ in San Antonio?

Hello all my fellow San Antonians!

DH is quite interested in some tastee BBQ for our Valentine’s Day dinner.
Any suggestions?

He had Bill Miller, and said it was nothing to write home about.
 
It sounds like you guys need to get int he car and drive up to Llano or Mason for Cooper’s BBQ. We used to have lunch road trips from Austin to get some of the good stuff.

 
We’ve actually been driving to Pok-e-Joe’s in Round Rock for tastees.
DH wants to save some money, this time around.
 
Are you serious?! They dont serve beer there? I am in New Braunfels and had no idea that there were still places like that around here? Is that because its a baptist area?😛

So long as I can have Shiner Boch (and I soooooooooo can’t spell!) with my BBQ, I am good

Aw man you just had to bring up the shiner didnt ya. 😃 This preggo cant drink for at least 2 years (breastfeeding) and I sooo am craving one

Never been there. Next week I am going to the T-Bar ranch in New Braunfels for a retreat with the 8th graders of our parochial school. I will try to check it out.
 
:hmmm: We never heard back about your BBQ experience. Where did you go? :hmmm:
 
I know that I 'm late, but Luling City Market in Luling, Tx wouldn’t be a bad drive. Just make sure that you get there before 5:45pm or you won’t eat.
 
Let me just put it this way- I don’t remember where we went. That’s the impression it made on me.
