Sadly, I presume some christians will just blow this off, they will say things like, Well, but he wasnt talking about this or that, or Im in a different situation, I make sure to never worship the money or possessions, etc etc or they will seek another interpretation that makes them feel better about buying and having lots of expensive stuff.
