I went to the Beatification for Casey Solanus today, and my friend told me before we went the person who she spoke to about tickets said the mass counts as Sunday mass. But, I am not sure. I would ask a priest, but tomorrow is Sunday, and the offices are not open. Does anyone know if this counts as Sunday mass? Because the mass was at a stadium … About 60,000 people. It just felt so different not being in a church.

It fulfills the Sunday obligation.

CIC (Latin canon law)
Can. 1248 - §1. A person who assists at a Mass celebrated anywhere in a Catholic rite either on the feast day itself or in the evening of the preceding day satisfies the obligation of participating in the Mass.
CCEO (eastern canon law)
Canon 881 - §1. The Christian faithful are bound by the obligation to participate on Sundays and feast days in the Divine Liturgy, or according to the prescriptions or legitimate customs of their own Church sui iuris, in the celebration of the divine praises.

Because it wasn’t inside a church. Just very different than the normal mass for me.
