I immensely enjoyed the old Gothic churches in Barcelona. People rave about La Sagrada Familia when they hear Church and Barcelona but i wasn’t too happy with it.
 
Today I go at 16:30 pm for good friday, Its far away but imma go for you and before the rite or after i will take pictures, I hope no tourist come in the midst of the ceremony and just start takeing pictures and walk like this is a hotel.

1882, How ever look for Tragic week of barcelona, the communist here burned all the churches in a week in the 1930, so every single church at least almost all have been restored a little bit. We have ancient churches here but this not one of them. How ever we have a monastery in the mountains which dates back to 1000 ad

Beautiful! I lived in Spain in 1972-1973 and travelled extensively. Many beautiful
churches and cathedrals in Spain.

Happens to be that suddenly some man called me by my name, he is ft crisfodoulos a greek orthodox priest who works in the administration of this church.

Lot of time without seeing him and he just gave me the book explaining everything about the parish

I just said I like churches like that you posted. If you need me to be precise, I appreciated the Barcelona Cathedral and Santa Maria del Mar more than I liked Gaudi’s La Sagrada Familia.

I’m just saying people who visit Barcelona often say how amazed they were at La Sagrada Familia, but I was not too impressed with it as I was with the Gothic churches.
