I don’t watch many EWTN Masses (the ones they hold in their little chapel), but for some reason I tuned in yesterday and wow! Their bishop was presiding and it was a beautiful sung Mass, right out of Vatican II. The Mass was in English, the Ordinary was a Gregorian Chant setting, the Propers were sung, they did a Tu Es Petrus motet. And all in that little chapel. I was very impressed and very moved.
Is the music this good and this suitable every Sunday? Like I said, I don’t watch their televised Mass often, and I sure never saw one like this. This is what people, Catholic and non-Catholic, should see of Catholic liturgy. I’m going to send them a nice email and I encourage others to do the same.
