Any one living in Houston, TX attest to any masses with beautiful music that follows the liturgical norms? I currently live in Sugar Land and am looking to try out other liturgies. Thank you.

When I lived in Houston I would go to Holy Rosary (south end of downtown). Its a Domincan parish, and well worth the drive (I lived in Bellaire). Here is the website:

God bless,

Thanks guys, I have actually visited Holy Rosary for a daily mass, but I guess it didn’t do it justice. Also, I’ve looked at Our lady of W but I know it’s an Anglican Use parish and was weary about attending a tradition different from my own. If any one else lives or has visited Houston, what I would appreciate so much is if y’all knew a parish that had gregorian chant that wasn’t so far from southwest Houston (Sugar Land). I currently go to St. Laurence parish and it has really beautiful liturgies and great priests but I would like something more traditional and time honared.

Austin: Definitely try Holy Rosary again for Sunday mass. As I recall (its been a few years), they did have chants during the processional at the beginning of mass. Really a fantastic and orthodox church.

Thanks, yeh I saw that they are doing construction building new parish offices. ::Bump:: Anyone else know of a mass in Houston that they enjoyed.

Our Lady of Walsginham also has Latin Masses–what could be more Roman than that?
