Hello:
My name is Kim. I live in a very small town in the Midwest USA. I was born and raised as a protestant and my father was a pastor of a baptist church. Well I am all grown up now and living on my own.
My problem is that I live way out in a very small town and I do not have a car or transportation to go to the local catholic church. I have asked a few people that I know for a ride but no sucess. I would like to know if I have any options to become a catholic other than just move away to another town.
I was baptized in my childhood church and I have been very active as a christian for over 50 years. Is there any way I can become confirmed as a catholic with my baptist christian experience?
I am currently studying the catholic catechism home study course and I participate in the live catholic mass services everyday on ewtn internet and radio. I would like to make my confession and recieve confirmation and first holy communion – but I just do not know how to do this since I cannot get to the church.
any ideas?
