Too many internet forums contain really bad behavior, bad language and laziness. They should contain respect, decency and politeness. Technology will not create the future. People will. We all need to choose to be civil if we want to live in a civil society. If we call ourselves civilized then this would be our best course of action.
For Catholics - I encourage you to use restraint and avoid imitating the bad behavior you see around you. If we are the salt of the earth then we are not to be like the world and behave like the world. No, no one is perfect (God knows I’m not) but we must continue, even if we stumble sometimes, to do what we know in our hearts is right and true.
And we must not be lazy and expect others to do many things for us while doing little in return.
