I went to a prayer group last night. I really enjoyed being able to just pray with others and really listen to the beauty of the words.

After I started to talk to a woman who was instrumental in starting the group. She told me about all the health problems she had, all the health problems her husband had, all the health problems her children had and then she pointed to a man and told me about all the health problems he had (which I found to be inappropriate telling me someone else’s business)

After every health problem, the person was healed and now is living as if they never had the issue in the first place. She kept saying ‘How God was good to heal’. I don’t dispute that God is good but… what about all the loved ones I lost because God didn’t heal them?

Why 'tthere not be more focus on ‘Life does not go the way we want it but we can be happy with God’. I didn’t care to hear about the miraculous healing, I just wanted to hear about ‘Stick close to God and you will find joy’

That’s just one person. Ignore her. God hasn’t healed me, either.

Couldn’t you just rejoice with her in the healings?
Why do you pick apart everything people say to you?
Maybe she was responding to perceived negativity.
Give her a break.

Don’t get me wrong, I believe that God did help her. I just wish I could meet more people who truly received God’s help even without the happy ending
