What a wise Ben Cartwright!

Was Lil’ Joe talking about himself? Was he in that situation? I didn’t watch the entire episode yet.
 
Oh, those golden days when Ben Cartwright could be allowed to say such words of profound wisdom.

Now days, just the opposite.😦

Thanks for sharing and reminding me of what a truely good family-values program this was (along with many others of the time).

It was actually his friend, Seth. Little Joe covered for him for a while, but then finally confronted him. Really a remarkable episode.

Thank you for posting that. What a great example of how corrupted our society has become. Just 40 or 50 years ago, this was put on prime time TV. The producers at that time were trying to gather maximum ratings, and then they rarely tried to do so by being controversial. Just presnt common sense wisdom, that would have been shared by the vast majority of the audience, and skillfully written and acted in order to draw in viewers. Now, we would be shocked if a network show would present that message; what a shame.
