Benedictines of the Annunciation

This congregation, part of the larger Order of St. Benedict, was founded in Belgium, and is therefore known as the Belgian Benedictine Congregation. They are named for the Annunciation. There is one abbey in California, which was transferred from China.

There are also a few monasteries of nuns in this congregation.
