🤷 Well I’m not sure.There are Bernardine franciscan Sisters here,but as far as Bernardine Cistercian Nuns, the answer maybe they have never been invited to the United States.That’s like there are no Sisters of the Christian Retreat or Sisters of LaRetraite in the US.by the way ,these are two different communities having different founders. The same goes for the Teutonic Sisters,who along with the Teutonic brothers, renments of the Teutonic Knights
Order from the Middle Ages. There are a lot of communities in Europe who don’t have any houses in the US.
The Sisters of Charity of St.Charles Borromeo had convents in the US but left many years ago.I believe the Franciscan Sisters of Chicago were founded by a group of the sisters who chose to remain here. However ,the community is back in the United States
again, on the Mid Atlantic Coast,like North Carolina or Virgina some place.
